2014 Gracie Humaitá Annual Meeting San Diego HQ

Coach Wil returned from his trip to San Diego a few weeks ago after attending the annual 2014 Gracie Humaitá Annual Meeting.

Arriving 10 days prior to the event Coach Wil trained with the Competition Team daily under instruction from Metamoris 3 competitor Zac Maxwell and also attended the night time public classes with Professor Regis and Professor Johnny. Master Royler Gracie was also present for the training on and off the mat with Coach Wil and he has been passing on the techniques, concepts and strategies he learnt whilst over in San Diego.

The Annual Meeting spread over 3 intensive days which included Seminars from Master Royler Gracie, Professor Pedro Valente & Grandmaster Rorion Gracie (Master Roylers brother and UFC founder). These seminars focused on building teaching styles, communication skills, self defense, the Gracie Diet, Dojo management and preserving the principles of Gracie Jiu Jitsu as GrandMaster Helio Gracie himself would of wanted.

It was an amazing event to be part of and to share the tatami with Red Belts, Koral Belts, World Champions, but most importantly people who are passionate about Jiu Jitsu and the ability it has to change people lives.
